How does an AI phone interview work?

VoxDash calls each respondent within your calling hours, in their own time zone. The AI interviewer reads your questions as written, probes open answers once and ends politely if someone declines. Completed interviews go to your data project.

What does an AI interviewer change about survey error?

It removes variation between interviewers: manner, accent, fatigue and keying. Your sample, its coverage and the telephone as a mode stay as they were. Whether an AI voice reduces socially desirable answers is an open question, so we do not claim it.

Which languages can it interview in?

English (United States) and French (Canada).

Interviews are paid from your AI balance, which comes with your plan and can be topped up. Before launch you see the expected, low and high cost and approve a spending cap, and unused funds are released when the study closes.

Can I stop a study once it has started?

Yes. Pause it, resume it, or stop it — gracefully, letting live calls finish, or at once. It also pauses itself on technical problems or when the budget runs out.

Where do the results go?

Every completed interview is added to a survey in the data project you chose at setup. From there you can export SPSS or CSV, download transcripts, and analyse open answers with AI.

Who owns the data when fieldwork ends?

You do. Every answer, attempt, transcript and recording is yours to export, and VoxDash holds nothing back and edits nothing. Privacy obligations to respondents travel with the data to its owner.
